Upko backs move for new Mykad issuance | Daily Express Online

TUARAN: United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (Upko) is going all out to support an online petition to urge the Federal Government to re-issue identification cards (Mykads) so as to weed out those that were obtained through dubious means. Its President Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau (pic), who is also Deputy Chief Minister, through his YouTube channel said all Upko members would sign the petition.“This is in line with the party’s struggle on the granting of citizenship through corruption to illegal immigrants in Sabah,” he said.
